Circle contours of compact regular levels

Two classical inputs are separated from the contour construction.

Both are explicit proposition parameters, not axioms. Neither input asserts the manuscript's obstacle-isolating disk selection. Smooth local charts, finite components, their planar embeddings and the contour cover are proved.

    Source documentation

A compact regular scalar level is covered by finitely many pairwise disjoint actual embedded smooth circle parametrizations. Only the circle classification theorem is assumed; its local manifold hypotheses were proved in RegularContours.

The bounded filled side of one embedded circle is an actual topological disk. Compact closure, connectedness and the exact boundary are derived from the ambient Schoenflies extension.

    Source documentation

Apply the constructed regular cutoff and classify all its level components. The finite smooth contours avoid the entire obstacle, while the unfilled superlevel neighborhood isolates exactly the chosen compact piece.
