L4DEL explanations are a separate layer. They do not change the Lean source. Intuition is explanatory prose; numbered items are a reading path; sources link the wording back to evidence.

    L4DEL explanation

    contains no affine copy of the dyadic sequence {2−n : n ≥ 1}

    No matter how small a measure loss η is allowed, one can keep a compact subset of [0,1] with measure greater than 1-η while destroying every translated and nonzero-rescaled copy of 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and so on.

    1. Given 0 < η < 1, the theorem produces a compact E contained in the closed unit interval whose Lebesgue volume is greater than ENNReal.ofReal (1-η).
    2. For every translation x and every real scale s ≠ 0, there is an index n ≥ 1 for which x + s·2^(-n) is outside E; negative as well as positive scales are covered.
    3. Thus E contains no complete affine copy of the infinite dyadic sequence. The challenge body is sorry, while the comparator checks this exact target against OAI.MeasureTheory.DyadicAvoidance.Main.
