L4DEL explanations are a separate layer. They do not change the Lean source. Intuition is explanatory prose; numbered items are a reading path; sources link the wording back to evidence.

two_sided_metric_carleson_hasStrongTypeStrong-type bound for the Carleson operator (Theorem 10.0.1) line 126 sourceSource comment
Theorem 10.0.1, reformulationL4DEL explanation
Lorentz-type bounds at two exponents bracketing q are combined by real interpolation to give a strong (q,q) bound.
- Choose two exponents q0 = (q+2)/2 and q1 = (q+1)/2 that bracket q.
- Obtain Lorentz-type bounds for the Carleson operator at q0 and q1 from two_sided_metric_carleson_hasLorentzType.
- Apply a real-interpolation theorem for Lorentz spaces (exists_hasLorentzType_real_interpolation) to get HasStrongType with constant C_carleson_hasStrongType.
- Caveat: the file Classical/ClassicalCarleson.lean says this theorem currently depends on
sorryAx, so it is not fully proved in this version.
