The Arc -- Magnetoacoustic Headband

File: magnetoacoustic_headband.html Status: Design specification released as prior art, Feb 21, 2026

A wearable headband combining optically pumped magnetometer (OPM) arrays for motor intent decoding with focused transcranial ultrasound (FUS) for targeted spinal neuromodulation. Non-invasive, no surgery, designed for daily wear. Decodes five motor primitives sufficient for 95% of SCI daily living needs. Closed-loop: decoded intent accuracy continuously updates the stimulation protocol. Estimated device cost at manufacturing scale: $800-2,400.

The Suit -- Full-Body Haptic Exosuit

File: haptic_exosuit.html Status: Design specification released as prior art, Feb 21, 2026

A full-body garment delivering continuous sub-perceptual electrical micro-stimulation via 256 electrodes. Uses high-frequency interference patterns for deep-tissue recruitment without surface discomfort. Two modes: passive maintenance (preserves muscle and neuromuscular junction viability) and active rehabilitation (patterned stimulation driven by Arc intent decoding). Manufacturing scale cost: $1,200-3,500.

Guardian Angel Bed & Cherub Meadow

File: guardian_angel_bed.html (not yet published in this repository) Status: Design specification released as prior art, Feb 23, 2026

Five-tier open hardware sleep platform for SCI and mobility-impaired patients: polyurea-aerogel composite mattress core (9.875 mW/mK thermal conductivity, 92.5% elastic recovery, $0.33/unit R&D amortized), active Peltier thermal management, sleep-aware pneumatic auto-repositioning (pressure accumulation algorithm, sleep stage gating), and a 32-coil spatial-freedom inductive charging topper compatible with the graphene neural-tap wetsuit haptic suit. The graphene-neoprene suit variant is waterproof (IPX7), non-adhesive, and charges overnight from the mattress topper. The Cherub Meadow infant variant provides neonatal thermoregulation and impedance breathing monitoring without stimulation components. Optional circadian light alarm add-on available on all tiers; ships absent by default. Complete Tier 4 system (Guardian Angel Bed + haptic suit): $1,600–2,400 retail.

Executive Care Protocol

File: executive_care_sci.html Status: Design specification released as prior art, Feb 21, 2026

A five-layer home robotics infrastructure for independent living with complete cervical SCI: acoustrode bridge, BCI-driven exoskeleton, robot fleet, haptic exosuit, and smart home integration. Total system cost less than one year of human attendant care. Also introduces the Positive Transition Clinical Communication Framework -- structured early post-injury counseling based on the documented 15-30% positive transition phenomenon.
